Sponsoring
a
CC School Scholarship
Thank you for your contribution towards a CC School sponsorship! In a country where so many dedicated educators, administrators and activists struggle to locate funding, your gift provides essential support to a fellow teacher or student in the journey to create truly inclusive learning environments that allow all students to thrive.
In keeping with the spirit of Critical Consciousness, you are encouraged to give in the amount that best aligns with your circumstances and means. While I have suggested contributions, you are free to give whatever amount feels right for you.
Please consider contributing more if you: own the home you live in; have investments, retirement accounts, or inherited money; travel recreationally; have access to family money and resources in times of need; work part-time by choice; have a relatively high degree of earning power due to level of education (or gender and racial privilege, class background, etc.). Even if you are not currently exercising your earning power, we ask you to recognize this as a choice.
Please consider contributing less if you: have significant debt; have medical expenses not covered by insurance; receive public assistance; have immigration-related expenses; are an elder with limited financial support; are an unpaid community organizer; are a returning citizen who has been denied work due to incarceration history.
Any and all contributions are welcome and received in gratitude to your commitment to change.
Please note that all sponsorship contributions support scholarships and tuition reductions for applicants seeking financial assistance to enroll in CC School. All contributions will remain anonymous, and I do not permit direct contributions towards specific students. If you are interested in providing monetary support to a particular person or organization, I am happy to facilitate these discussions.
If you are interested in sponsoring a workshop or other initiative, please reach out directly via email.
